Unlike many programs, Digital Laureate offers two-tier recognition: general excellence awards and an elite honorary title (The Digital Laureate), fostering long-term recognition and a global professional identity.

3. Who can participate?

Professionals, organizations, departments, or teams across any industry contributing to digital, technological, or innovative advancement are welcome. International applicants are encouraged.

4. Is there a fee to enter?

No. Submitting a nomination is completely free.
At Digital Laureate, we believe in making recognition accessible to everyone. You can apply or nominate without paying any entry fee.
A nominal processing fee is only applicable if your nomination is selected as a winner, and you choose to accept and receive the award benefits.

5. What types of awards are offered?

  • Digital Laureate – Recognition for Excellence: Given in categories such as AI, HealthTech, EdTech, Digital Leadership, etc.

  • The Digital Laureate (Entitlement Award): Reserved for individuals/organizations who win at least 3 Recognition for Excellence awards in different categories (threshold for each award title ‘Outstanding’ and above).

6. What are the scoring-based award titles?

Titles reflect achievement level based on a 100-point evaluation:

  • Promising (51 – 60)

  • Remarkable (61 – 70)

  • Outstanding (71 – 80)

  • Excellent (81 – 90)

  • Distinguished (91 – 100)

7. How many winners are chosen per category?

There can be multiple winners or none, depending on the judging panel's evaluation of submissions.

8. Who can submit a nomination?

Nominations may be submitted by:

  • Self-applicants

  • Business representatives

  • Team leads or peers

9. What information is required for nomination?

  • Applicant Type (Self, Business, Employee)

  • Award Category

  • Application Season & Year

  • Field of Profession / Industry

  • Supporting documents (proof of work, project summaries, media, etc.)

10. Can one nominee apply for multiple categories?

Yes. A single nominee can apply for different categories, but each requires a separate submission.

11. How are group/team nominations handled?

A team can be nominated collectively, with a designated representative. Achievements must be attributable to the group as a whole.

12. Who are the judges?

Our judges are global industry experts, academics, innovators, and business leaders chosen for their credibility, impartiality, and experience.

13. How are judges selected?

Judges must meet criteria including a minimum years of experience, ethical reputation, domain expertise, and prior involvement in evaluation, mentorship, or innovation.

14. How can someone apply to be a judge?

Interested professionals can apply via the "Become a Judge" page. Selection is based on qualifications and availability.

15. How are nominations evaluated?

Judges use a standardized 100-point scale based on:

  • Innovation & originality

  • Execution quality

  • Industry impact

  • Leadership contribution

  • Societal relevance

  • Future-readiness

16. How is fairness maintained?

Submissions are reviewed anonymously (where possible), scored independently by multiple judges, and verified by the audit committee.

17. What is The Digital Laureate title?

This honorary title is awarded to those who have earned 3 or more Recognition for Excellence awards in different categories. It confers:

  • Global honorary designation (e.g., The Digital Laureate Dr. Jane Doe)

  • Digital Laureate Hall of Fame profile

  • Speaking invites & judging opportunities

  • Featured global visibility

18. How can a nominee qualify for the title?

Eligibility is automatically reviewed once the third qualifying award is achieved. The organizing team validates category diversity and impact.

19. What do Recognition for Excellence winners receive?

  • Personalized trophy or medal (optional)

  • Framed certificate (optional)

  • Digital badge & shareable certificate

  • Public profile on website & Social media

20. What additional honors do Digital Laureate titleholders receive?

No. Physical items such as the framed certificate, personalized trophy, and recognition banner/card are optional and available at a nominal cost. These fees cover only production, packaging, and delivery, we do not profit from them.

22. Why are physical awards optional?

To ensure global accessibility, reduce environmental impact, and keep participation costs low, the Digital Laureate Awards are digitally focused by default. Physical memorabilia is offered for those who wish to celebrate their achievement offline with high-quality, tangible items.

23. How much do physical recognition items cost?

Costs vary based on item type and shipping destination. Exact pricing will be shared with winners post-announcement. All items are affordably priced and fulfilled through trusted vendors.

24. Do you offer media or press features for winners?

Yes, we offer optional premium press opportunities, including:

  • Spotlight interviews (video or written)

  • Featured press articles

  • Media distribution across relevant platforms

These are paid add-ons, and pricing depends on the exposure level and external service providers involved (e.g., editing, publishing, syndication).

25. Are press and interview features mandatory?

No. These features are completely optional and are offered only to those interested in amplifying their visibility. All services are managed transparently, with clear deliverables and value for the honoree.

26. Can I get a bundle for multiple team members or group nominations?

Yes. If you're nominating multiple employees, teams, or departments, we offer:

  • Discounted pricing for group entries

  • Bundled recognition packages (digital and/or physical)

  • Custom press exposure or partnership options

27. When are results announced?

Award results are published on the 30th day following each season’s deadline.

28. When do winners receive their awards?

Achievement packages are dispatched within or before 60 days after the official announcement.

29. How is communication handled post-nomination?

Nominees will receive email confirmations, status updates, and important dates. Ensure your contact details are correct.

30. What happens if my submission is incomplete?

Incomplete applications may be disqualified or deferred to the next cycle. Always review your entries before final submission.

31. Can I withdraw my nomination?

Yes, but fees are non-refundable. Notify us via the contact form if you wish to withdraw.

32. Do you store payment details like card numbers or security information?

No. We do not store or access any sensitive payment data, including card numbers, CVV/security pins, or banking credentials.
All payment processing is securely handled through third-party payment gateways or authorized financial institutions, in compliance with global data protection standards.

We only receive confirmation of payment from the gateway and use that information solely to validate your nomination and communicate with you accordingly.
